Lisa Wade is an Associate Professor at Tulane University with appointments in sociology, gender and sexuality studies, and the Newcomb Institute. She is the author of American Hookup: The New Culture of Sex on Campus, the coauthor of Gender: Ideas Interactions, Institutions, Second Edition with Professor Emerita Myra Marx Feree. Her forthcoming solo-authored introduction to sociology textbook Terrible Magnificent Sociology, is forthcoming for spring 2022 courses.
