Robert Manduca, Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Michigan, presented a department colloquium “Wealth as Control of the Future” on Monday, February 21.
Manduca’s research focuses on the rising income inequality in the United States. He also examines the role that national policy decisions play in determining the economic viability of cities and regions. Manduca received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2020 and his Master in City Planning at MIT in 2014.
