Professor Ted Gerber was the featured expert on Wisconsin Public Radio’s “The Morning Show” this week. He discussed the current tension in Ukraine and Russia and answered questions called in from the public. Gerber is a member of the Department of Sociology faculty and is Director of the Center for Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia at University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research examines social inequality, economic change, migration, family processes, housing, and public opinion in contemporary Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, and other former Soviet countries.
