Kelly researches how institutional changes to health care and the medical work force have shaped abortion work, using a framework that examines equity related to race, gender, and class.
Kelly is currently finishing this academic year as an Anna Julia Cooper Postdoctoral Fellow, and in the 2021 – 2022 academic year she will be an Assistant Professor in both the Department of Sociology and the Department of Gender & Women’s Studies.
