Professor Eric Grodsky Appointed as Vilas Associate

Congratulations to Eric Grodsky for being selected for an appointment as a Vilas Associate, awarded by the Office of Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education.  The Vilas Associates Competition recognizes new and ongoing research of the highest quality and significance on the UW-Madison campus.  Eric is Professor of Sociology and Educational Policy Studies and Co-Director of the Madison Education Partnership, a research-practice partnership between the Madison metropolitan School District and UW-Madison.

In addiheadshot photo of Eric Grodskytion to pursuing his own research, he is on the training faculty for the Interdisciplinary Training Program in Education Sciences (ED 144-AAA7561) and the Center for Demography and Ecology training program (T32 HD07014) and provides methodological training and guidance to doctoral candidates in both programs.
