Angela J. Hattery received her M.S. and PhD (1996) in Sociology at University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently Professor and Director of Women and Gender Studies at George Mason University. Sociologists for Women in Society (SWS) recently selected Hattery as the 2019 SWS Distinguished Feminist Lecturer Award Winner. This award recognizes members whose scholarship employs a feminist perspective, and to promote a feminist voice to campuses where such perspective is unusual and/or unwelcome. | Read more..
