Dr. Raymo’s research focuses on the demography of family change and aging in Japan and the U.S. His work has appeared in numerous journals, including the American Sociological Review, Demography, Journal of Marriage and Family, and Social Science Research. He is Director of the Concentration in Analysis and Research (CARS) at UW Madison — an elective concentration program within the Sociology undergraduate curriculum, preparing students interested in statistics and research methods for careers in applied social research.
