The Departments of Sociology and Community & Environmental Sociology traditionally hold a celebration that includes a hooding ceremony,  tribute speeches by faculty advisors, and a reception to honor the graduate students earning their Ph.D.  Since festivities were cancelled this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, each graduate’s faculty advisor(s) created a video message that can be viewed here.
