Congratulations to Sarah “Frankie” Frank for receiving a Distinguished Honors Faculty Award!
Each spring, the L&S Honors Program solicits student nominations of faculty members who have had a special impact as instructors of Honors-designated courses, mentors of Honors projects, or as supervisors of Honors research experiences. Frankie was selected from a record number of nominations for a 2025 Distinguished Honors Faculty Award.
Students who nominated her said that “Dr. Frank truly cares about her students and is eager to help them achieve their goals within and outside of the classroom, even if that involves taking on additional work herself.” Also, “She makes an extensive effort to get to know her students, to really see them as the holistic person they are and support them in achieving their unique goals and studying their academic passions.”
The awardees will be recognized at the Honors First-Year Dinner on September 30, 2025.
