Benny Witkovsky publishes op-ed in Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Benny Witkovsky published an op-ed about his dissertation research titled “Pretending local elections aren’t partisan is actually making voters angrier” in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Ballots for local elections in Wisconsin do not include party identification next to candidates’ names. He explains why that practice began, describes why it may have outlived its purpose, and proposes concrete changes to help voters understand who and what they’re voting for. Read the full piece here.
