Congratulations Wes Sparkman on receiving the Robert M. La Follette School of Public Affairs 2023 Alumni of Distinction Award!
Wes says, “Many thanks to Susan Webb Yackee, Director of the La Follette School at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for recognizing my contribution and public service to Dane County and the State of Wisconsin. There is much to be done in the fight against inequity. Wisconsin can be better and do better. On Wisconsin!”
Wes Sparkman earned his BA from our department, and he is on our Board of Visitors, a group of alumni and friends who support, advise, and advocate for the Sociology Department.
