On Tuesday, June 28, 6:00pm at Leopold’s Books Bar Caffè, Doug Maynard, Maureen T. Hallinan Professor of Sociology, Emeritus, will discuss his just published co-authored book “Autistic Intelligence: Interaction, Individuality, and the Challenges of Diagnosis.” Maynard will read or discuss three select passages ideas from the book, and then encourage questions or comments after each discussion or reading. There will also be time for open questions and book signings.
Jason Turowetz, who received his Ph.D. from the Department of Sociology in 2016, is co-author of the book. Turowetz is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Siegen.
