Michal Engelman to be New Director of the Wisconsin Longitudinal Study

photo of Michal EngelmanAssociate Professor Michal Engelman will be the new director of the Wisconsin Longitudinal Study, a long-term study of 10,317 men and women who graduated from Wisconsin high schools in 1957.  Engelman plans to enhance the study’s vitality as a scientific resource for learning about well-being at older ages and across diverse contexts.  Engelman is also the Associate Director for Training for the Center for Demography of Health and Aging, serving as the principal investigator of the NIH training grant T32AG000129, Population, Life Course and Aging.
