Last Friday evening Anna Paretskaya was one of 500 people in Madison protesting the treatment of immigrants and refugees by the U.S. government. Anna is a lecturer in the Sociology Department and studies political movements. She herself came to the United States as an international student from the Soviet Union and is now a U.S. citizen. She was interviewed at the vigil.
